Pre-School Gymnastics

Coach Patty is a leader of the Kinder Gymnastics,  being a founding member of the USAG Kinder accreditation (KAT).  Her unique coaching style uses positive reinforcement methods.  Children are having fun and learning at the same time. 

Monthly Theme


One week of each month is a theme.  From Coach Patty’s Big Top to Pirate Week, to Olympics.  Children will apply their gymnastic skills  to various themes.  This makes  for great fun as well as introduces them to different aspects of gymnastics.

Toddler Gym



(Walking - 32 Months)

12:1 student/teacher Ratios

45 Minute weekly class allows the caregiver and child a quality movement experience focused on basic motor skills, perceptual development and cognitive skills.  Examples are swinging on the bar, walking on a wide beam.  Parent participation is required.  Children must be able to walk without assistance


Mini Gym



(2 1/2 to 3 1/2)

6:1 Student/Teacher Ratio


45 Minute weekly class allows for the growing independence of this age group. The first step in now following instruction from coach away from caregiver.

This class focuses on basic motor skills, early gymnastic skills, and rudimentary rhythmic movement.

Development appropriate hand/eye coordinated activity as social skills

 

Kinder gym



(4 1/2 - 5 1/2)

7:1 Student/Teacher Ratio


45 minute weekly class the final stage in pre-school program.  This class will focus on gymnastics fundamentals, creative movement and progressive concepts.  As each child grows, new challenges and general fitness concepts are introduced.


Kinder-Combo



(3 1/2 - 5 1/2)

7:1 Student/Teacher Ratio


45 minute weekly Class.  This class combines the age and experience/development stages of the the Nursery and Kinder gym courses.  An excellent opportunity for families that may have siblings and wish for them to be in the same class.

 


Nursery Gym



(3 1/2 to 4 1/2)

7:1 Student/Teacher Ratio


45 minute weekly class is learn on how and why the body moves.  Lesson plans and progressions are based on developmental milestones and include developing independence social skills, coordination, and movement fundamentals.
